and about twenty pages of thoughts that i want to write down.
thing is, it’s almost midnight here in spain and i am not a full time blogger, i am a full time graphic designer. but let me just say quickly, one thing this interview made me think of is how much i care about the topics covered by rollo and CMQ and dagonet — and the manosphere in general — and how much i want to really break down my own theories and ideas into clear, actionable steps — advice to help others, but even more than that, advice to help myself.
i say this because at times i have flashes of deep insight, flashes of full comprehension, flashes of fundamental understanding — and then, just as quickly, this understanding slips through my fingers and i get sad and dejected about the state of the world. it’s fascinating and thrilling and also frustrating. but i do know i have things i can add to the red pill conversation, things to say to help me and others, and that is exciting.
but, getting back to the rollo interview, wow, i was impressed. rollo just comes off as so intelligent, kind, thoughtful, loving even — it’s like there isn’t an ounce of hate in his body. sort of like another zen master — even though that name is already taken by the original zen master yohami — rollo comes off as a calm, rational, kind, incredibly insightful teacher. in fact, i have to say, he comes off as much more accessible in this interview than i ever felt he did in his writings. but, that brings up another topic, i have to read his site more thoroughly.
okay, wait, let me try to do it this way.
WHAT I LOVED ABOUT THE INTERVIEW
1. rollo, what an educator. i could listen to rollo and CMQ and dagonet talk for an hour each week, every week. they each bring a different perspective to the red pill, and it was just such a compelling conversation. they talked for an hour and a half and it just flew by.
2. the way rollo and CMQ answered paul’s question. they didn’t fully answer it, but what they answered was HOF material. self development is the answer, not chasing pussy or being needy. (they needed to talk more about how to discover and develop your talents, how to overcome fears, how to blast through sticking points, etc etc.)
3. rollo’s optimism that western society is going to get better. might be influenced by him having a kid, though. what else is he going to think, you know?
4. rollo’s thoughts on monogamy as “the last resort”.
5. the concept of your masculine mission being “the other woman”. i fucking love that. wow. had never exactly thought about it that way before.
6. rollo’s concept of the performance burden.
7. CMQ saying how he is over what roosh would call “ego sex” and how now he just fucks for fun, not to prove himself to anybody, not for validation, not to fulfil a sense of emptiness inside him (my words), because he has already passed that stage — btw, important, he didn’t ignore that stage, he PASSED IT, meaning he achieved that goal of fucking 100 girls or 200 girls or however many he has fucked, he sowed his wild oats and now he can just fuck for fun without having that “itch” take over his life or hang over his head — to the point that now he feels “peaceful”. sounds like CMQ is also reaching some sort of zen state, perhaps.
8. CMQ saying how everything that used to be shamed, is now celebrated. that’s a great quote. might have to tweet that.
9. the idea of the single man’s red pill, and the relationship red pill.
10. “The hardest part of the red pill is turning it on yourself.” -Dagonet
WHAT I WOULD IMPROVE
11. why not use dagonet’s current situation as a case study?? well i guess maybe dagonet doesn’t want to spill too many personal details, but i felt that CMQ shut him down and made fun of him about not being on oprah. i would have loved to have heard rollo’s thoughts and insights into “what went wrong” with dagonet’s relationship. dagonet’s quote “the hardest part of the red pill is turning it on yourself” and what he said about using game to fuck girls while running away from his own problems, that is a HUGE, huge topic.
12. instead, CMQ shut down dagonet’s story and proceeded to rant about feminists and how western society is anti-men. i don’t think CMQ reads my blog, but in case you do, dude, how much does ranting about feminist cunts really help us? yeah, we all know that there is a lot of unfairness against men at the macro level, we get it, that’s a huge part of the red pill, but there is also an unfairness at the micro level, in the sense that life is not easy, finding love is not easy, staying red pill while in a relationship is NOT EASY. that is also unfair. this is something dagonet is going through right now. a real life difficulty, a real life “unfairness”. why not talk about that, why always take it to the theoretical macro level instead of the personal micro level?
13. i say this because, yeah, when i met my ex, i was very red pill without even knowing it. i was going through a rebellious phase and i was just deeply indifferent to what anybody thought of me, i was fully focused on my art and on self amusement, and that really attracted her (no shit). she proceeded to fall in love with me, and me with her, and that’s when it started getting ugly, as i slowly started becoming a little beta bitch — in order to try to please her and “make her happy” — and she slowly started to hate me more and more, until we finally got divorced ten years later.
14. anyway, i started writing this an hour ago, and i have a lot more to say — i just quickly skimmed my notes and wrote down random thoughts — and on top of that, i have only listened to the interview once so far — but guess what, i gotta go. i will write more later.
so here’s the interview. CMQ and dagonet interview rollo tomassi.
beautiful stuff, guys.

Good stuff, can’t wait to find some time and listen…
Who is this jackass host?
I couldn’t listen to more than 20 minutes.
Notice how they “lost” Rollo about 20 minutes in. Tomassi basically hung up, and they had to call him back. Seems like he finished the interview because it would have been bad form otherwise.
The host sounds like a morning FM zoo radio host who do not know how to conduct interviews and keep directing all attention back to themselves. Newsflash: a good interview is where the interviewer cedes the spotlight to the interviewee, and lets him talk.
Note: how bad does cursing sound in a conversation more than a few minutes? The endless “fucking” and “shit” and “cunt” adds nothing and you merely distract the listener. A charismatic man communicator curses rarely – if at all.
Honestly think CMQ blew this interview that had so much potential. I know he gets a bunch of hate given his scorched earth personality, but personally I think it’s great for getting guys into the red pill mindset. He sets a great example as far as business success, social status and overall self improvement but Rollo is so over his head. Its clear within the first 3 minutes. I think dagonet should have lead the interview as his personality matches Rollo’s psychological mindset.
Also completely agree with you on dagonet telling his story, he was putting himself out there and CMQ would just shit on him. He was giving rollo the perfect set up to show why he is valued in the community.
Great notes on the interview and good insights. I think the entire interview would have been better if it was just Rollo and Dagonet. Aside from point # 8. he really didn’t offer that much and I think the conversation could have leant more towards what you say you wanted under “Improvements” if it had just been the two of them talking to each other without CMQ.
I think you’re bang on about Rollo’s optimism being tied to him having a child. Although in fairness perhaps the majority of the manosphere is so doom and gloom because most of us don’t have kids and so don’t see or have a need to reflect with optimism on the future world.
